Shybe is a mobile application that provides concise analysis and helpful resources about race in America while cultivating racial competence and a commitment to racial equity. It invites users to approach racial learning with open curiosity and deepen their commitment to eradicating racial inequity and racial injustice. The mobile application was created by Ra’Shya Ghee, a DEI professional, attorney, consultant, and educator who has spent most of her academic and professional career studying, teaching, and writing, about racial inequity in America and advocating for a more aggressive shift towards & commitment to racial equity in America. This application is the result of numerous teaching experiences and professional encounters that revealed how little people understood about America’s racial trajectory, how uncomfortable people were having authentic discourse about race, and how few spaces existed to address those realities.
